It was always a pleasure to visit Aunt Sandy and see my cousins as a child, along with the family reunions when everyone would eat and have a good time socializing. Those memories will always be with me. I am sad for her passing. Rest in heaven’s glory.

My condolences to John and the family. Sandy and I were roommates our freshman year at SUNY Buffalo. We were both from small town farms and this made our transition to the big university easier. Sandy was a straight "A" nursing student. We stayed in touch every Christmas, John and she visited once in Washington DC and occasionally we'd talk on the phone. She would tell me all about her nursing jobs which she enjoyed and managed with great expertise. This I know because eventually I too became a nurse. You will be missed my friend. Sue Fox

My condolences to all of Sandy's family and friends. Thank you, John, for notifying me of Sandy's passing. I, in turn, informed our other UB friends from back in the days of Goodyear Dorm and then our apartment on Hertel Ave where we enjoyed hanging out together. Like Sandy, Sue and I grew up on small family farms. I particularly remember rides Sandy gave us in the big ole farm car Sandy's Dad gave her. We could see the asphalt passing by through holes in the floorboards under our feet. We felt a closeness to Fred Flintstone!! And we were very grateful not to have to wait for a bus on cold Buffalo winter mornings. Sandy was always willing to share what she had and was a good friend to all. I shall miss her and I will always remember her fondly.
