Obituary of Justin E. Mazurowski

In Memoriam: Justin Edward Mazurowski

With great sadness, we report the death of Justin Mazurowski on February 18, 2025. With his passing, we lose a beloved husband, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. Justin was born on December 23, 1956, to his parents Mildred (née Smith) and Stanley, with siblings John (Jeannie), Judith (Dan), Joseph (Rebecca), James (Noreen), Janine, and Jerold. Justin is predeceased by his parents, Mildred and Stanley, and his youngest brother, Jerold.

His childhood was spent in Piffard, NY, where he served as an altar boy at St. Raphael's Church. In his teenage years, his family moved to the village of York, NY. Justin attended York Central School, excelling in academics and athletics. He was a lead member of the York cross-country and track teams that brought home many sectional championships. During his high school years, Justin and the love of his life, Michele (née Cucinotta), began dating. After graduating, Justin and Michele attended SUNY Morrisville. Soon after college, Michele and Justin were married at St. Lucy's Church and began their life together. He is also survived by Michele's siblings Pamela (Daniel) Smith, Paula (Michael) Temperato, and James Cucinotta (Melissa Brock).

Justin was employed at SV Moffett Co., Inc. for most of his career, where he was central to the supply of turf equipment and parts to the Western NY golf community. Justin loved golf and was an excellent player. He also had a passion for cars; some memorable ones included a Gremlin, Maverick, and several Mustangs, all with V8 engines!

Justin and Michele have touched the lives of countless relatives, friends, and members of the community. How many relatives does Justin have? Hundreds. Friends? Countless. Justin and Michele are mutually loved by their nieces, nephews and their children having shared many milestone events.

Throughout his retirement, Justin continued his love of golf and was a member of the Caledonia Country Club for more than 40 years. As Mustang enthusiasts, he and Michele were members of the ROC CITY MUSTANGZ.
