We are sorry for all of the Hicks family on the passing of Frank. He was a friend to us all in Geneseo and he lifted the spirit of the community for so many decades. He could tell a story like no one else could and his laugh was a treasure to hear. He took us all in as friends and loved to entertain. His good nature was infectious, something that will be greatly missed. We mourn your passing, Frank.

From the first time I met Frank and Bea I knew my life was going to change. We took a tour of LA. not lower Alabama for his family, Los Angeles. My watch partner Al and I picked them up at LAX in a stretch limousine and cruised LA up to Malibu and down to Long Beach and Torrance. We had an absolute blast, he was telling stories and jokes the entire time and I believe he filled Terry and myself in on some of his time in the navy. I didn’t realize that this would be the first of many vacations spent with him and Bea. He was more like a father to me than a father in law. He had a way of making you laugh no matter how bad of a day you were having. For nearly 40 years he always made the day better good or bad. Fair winds and following seas shipmate, we have the watch! Roll Tide Roll Love you

Cris and I wish to extend our deepest condolences to the Hicks family. It is a large loss for Geneseo and the Geneseo Kiwanis Club. Frank was a bigger than life person. He literally filled the room with his personality and mirth. He loved to tell jokes and stories. He loved his family and he was an integral part of the Geneseo Kiwanis Club and downtown Geneseo. I am sure he will be missed by many people in our community. Rest in peace Big Guy!

To all the Hicks family, my deepest condolences on the passing of your dad. He was a fine fixture in Geneseo and an exemplary model of what a funeral director should be to families at their time of need. A role model I was lucky to have observed, as I've followed down the same career path. May he rest in peace with his dear Bea.

To the Hicks Family, We are so sorry for your loss. Years ago, my Dad (Mike Orlando) and Frank were staying at the rehab facility in Geneseo at the same time. They would joke and tease each other while giving the staff a run for their money!

Uncle Frank was the best a nephew could ever ask for. He had a story for even minute you were with him and he loved his family. We will miss him. Our family loved him very much. I attached a photo of him and his brothers, John on the left & Sam on the right. Sadly, I did not have one of him and my dad, his twin Fred, on my laptop. Prayers for his family to have the comfort that only Christ can provide.

Scotty, Derek, & all of the Hicks family
Sorry to hear of the passing of your dad & grandfather. His journey was so very full-accomplished much & enjoyed life. We remember our uncle Andy Schwan telling of the great time both he & Frank had as they traveled as a part of Honor Flight-a wonderful recognition for their years of service.
May he rest in peace.
Our hearts go out to you~
