Obituary of Dorothy Jean Zanghi

Dorothy Jean Zanghi, age 77, of Piffard, died Monday, April 16, 2018 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was predeceased by her parents, William and Dorothea Hill and her sister, Mildred Hill.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Louis, daughters, Theresa (Jeff) Marshall of Dansville, Tammy (Mark) Kozlowski of Elkridge, MD, Stephanie McMahon of Abilene, TX, grandchildren, Connor and Mackenzie Marshall, Stephen and Daniel Kozlowski, Richard and Brittany Barringer, great grandchildren, Ian and Emma Barringer, brother, William Hill of Pensacola, FL, brother in law, Lenard Zanghi of Latham, NY and several nieces.

Dorothy Jean was born August 26, 1940 in Niagara Falls, NY the daughter of William and Dorothea Young Hill. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Tuberculosis Hospital in Mt. Morris before her retirement. Dorothy was a long-time member of St. Mary's Church in Geneseo.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 11 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo.
