Obituary of Mary L. Beck

Mary L. Beck, age 93, of Geneseo, died Friday, October 13, 2017 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry Beck, sister, Elizabeth Hudgens, brothers, Robert and James Wilkinson.

She is survived by her sons, William Beck of Rochester and Robert Beck of York, grandchildren, Julie (Tim) O'Keefe, Erin, Kasey, Kelly-Jo and Kenneth Beck.

Mary was born July 9, 1924 in Wenonah, NJ the daughter of James and Elva Shultz Wilkinson. She graduated from Russell Sage Nursing School in Albany. Mary volunteered at the Teresa House in Geneseo for many years. She was a member of the Geneseo Garden and Book Clubs and a longtime member of the Geneseo United Methodist Church. Mary was also an avid bridge player.

No prior calling hours. A Celebration of Mary's Life will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 12 Noon at the Geneseo United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo.
