Obituary of Floyd "Lefty" Lynch Jr.

Floyd "Lefty" Lynch Jr., age 85, of Jacqueline Way in Geneseo, died Friday, June 2, 2017 at Unity Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his wife Marguerite and son Christopher. He is survived by his children, Richard (Lori) Lynch of West Seneca, Michael (Angel) Lynch of Geneseo and John (Mary) Lynch of Livonia, grandchildren, Richard (Christine) Lynch and Caryn Lynch, both of West Seneca, Tera (Matt) Kendall of Henrietta, Chad (Molly) Radesi of Geneseo, great grandchildren, Abigail Radesi and Easton Lynch, sister, Betty Pinkerton of Arcade, nieces and nephews. Lefty was born April 9, 1932 in Buffalo, NY the son of Floyd and Lynch Sr. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Lefty and his late wife Marge owned and operated Margie's Deli at the south end of Conesus Lake for many years. This is where he became well known for his famous fry cakes prepared fresh every morning. Friends may call Sunday, June 4, 2017 from 1-3 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held Monday at 11 AM in Union Cemetery in Scottsburg. Memorials may be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 5005, P.O. Box 221, Geneseo, NY 14454.
