Obituary of Ann M. Coniglio

Ann M. Regone Coniglio, age 88, of Geneseo, formerly of Dover, DE, died Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the St. John's Home Green House in Penfield, NY. Ann was born in Cuylerville, NY, on February 13, 1929, the youngest of three children. She was a Graduate of York Central School class of 1949. In 1954, she moved with her parents to LeRoy, NY, where she was employed for a number of years at the Jello plant. It was there that she met and married Sam Coniglio. When General Mills consolidated their holdings and moved to Dover, Delaware, Ann moved with her mother and Sam to Dover. There they enjoyed gardening, boating, birding and traveling. In 2014, Ann moved to Penfield, NY, where she was lovingly cared for by the staff at St. John's Home Green House, and her nephew and niece, Jim and Mary Coniglio. Ann was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews, and a devoted wife, daughter, and sister. Ann was predeceased by her husband, Samuel J. Coniglio, her parents, John Regone and Mary Stephany Regone, her brothers, Vic Regone and Ray Regone. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mary Regone, her brother-in-law, Charles Coniglio, nieces and nephews, Jean Henry, Doris Leigh, Carl Regone, Steve Regone, William Regone, Victoria Bowker, Janet Battel, James Coniglio, John Coniglio, Joel Coniglio, Mary Frances Miller, Joseph Coniglio, Anthony Coniglio, John U. Coniglio, Kenneth Coniglio, Barbara Juliano, Mary Jo Carey, David Marasco, Mary Anne Slaiman, Kathy Culbreth, James Marasco, Salvatore Marasco and David Coniglio. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 10-11AM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Her Funeral Mass will follow visitation at 11 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Avon. Donations may be made in her memory to St. John's Home, 150 Highland Ave., Rochester, NY 14620.
