Obituary of William M. Moore

William M. Moore, age 63, of Piffard, formerly of Lima, died Thursday, February 9, 2017 at his residence. He was predeceased by his wife, JoAnne Benson Moore, his parents, Paul and Florence Moore. He is survived by his children, Michael Moore of Mt. Morris, Christine (Brian Hall) Moore of York, grandchildren, Brian Hall, Allison, Miranda, Kobe Moore and their mother, Jamie Pike of Pavilion, sister, Maggie (Dennis) Chichester of Piffard, nieces, Dr. Kimberly (Christopher Michael) Chichester of Pittsford, Michelle (Joseph) Coccia of Fairport, Brandi Collins of Lakeville, nephew, Maxwell Chichester of Buffalo, special uncle, Steve Moore of Hemlock, several additional aunts, uncles and many cousins. William was born February 26, 1953 in Dansville, NY the son of Paul and Florence Massie Moore. He was a US Marine during Vietnam. Bill was a Sanitary Engineer for Monroe Community College in Rochester. Prior to his illness he was an avid bowler at Livingston Lanes in Geneseo, Mt. Morris Lanes and Miller Lanes in Honeoye Falls. Friends may call Saturday, February 11, 2017 from 11AM-1PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Funeral Services will follow calling hours at 1 PM.
