Obituary of Martha D. Andrews

Martha D. Andrews, age 91 of Geneseo, formerly of Chili, NY, passed away September 6, 2016 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter T. Andrews, daughter in law, Sharon Struble Andrews, brothers Sam, Bill, Harry, Carl, John and Pete Drew. She is survived by her son, James Andrews of Avon, daughter, Sarah (John) Culhane of Brockport, grandchildren, Julie Andrews, Cindy Andrews, Morgan Culhane, John Cody Culhane, great-granddaughter, Cassie Foley, many very beloved nieces and nephews. Martha was born October 10, 1924 in Groveland, NY, the daughter of Mark and Mary Martin Drew. She attended Groveland High School in Groveland, NY. Martha and Walter were married April 16, 1943. She was a Sales Clerk for Present Company in Rochester, NY before her retirement. Martha took great pride in her role as homemaker and mother. She loved to bowl, entertain guests and was a wonderful cook. Friends may call on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 9-11 AM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Funeral Services will follow visitation at 11 AM.
