Elizabeth E. "Liz" DiFranco, 95, died Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at the Crossroads House in Batavia. Mrs. DiFranco resided on Genesee St. in Leroy and was formerly of Geneseo. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel, grandson James, and sister Mary DeKruger.

She is survived by her son, Timothy (Kathleen) DiFranco of Batavia, granddaughters, Margaret Mary Merica of Leroy, Theresa (John) Versage of Batavia, daughter in law, Anna DiFranco of Garner, NC, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

She was born October 2, 1916 in Leroy, NY the daughter of James and Mary Gardner Leary.

Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 9:30 AM at St. Mary's Church Parish Center, 13 North St. in Geneseo. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
