|  John F. Baker, 87, of Main St. in York, died Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. He is survived by his wife Eleanor Parks Baker, his children, Cathy (Art) Flinton of Utah, William (Kathleen) Baker of Wyoming, NY, Susan (Carmen) Muoio of Ohio, daughter in law Linda Baker of Batavia, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren, his sister, Helen Rowley of Wyoming, NY, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son James Baker. He was born August 24, 1922 in Weathersfield, NY the son of Fred G. and Eva Hann Baker. John was retired from the AKZO Nobel Salt Mine in Retsof. He was an active member of the York United Presbyterian Church and a lifetime member of the York Fire Department. John was also a member of the Independent Order of the Odd Fellows. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Saturday, June 26, 2010 from 2-7 PM. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, June 27, 2010 at 2 PM at the York United Presbyterian Church, 2662 Main St. in York with Rev. Neil Frood officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York.
